Naurex Daemonacht is my most evil villan to date. When I thought him up it was for a table-top strategy game I was making that I unfortunately ended up scrapping, but I decided to keep his story (and the story of his alter-ego) in my head and modify it for whenever I may end up writing it. When I drew him I was inspired by many different things. The first was the Nightshades from Dungeons and Dragons (a pen and paper role playing game) where I derived the pitch black body. The second was the Dark Eldar from Warhammer 40000 (a table-top strategy game) which helped me derive the armor. The third was the Epyon's beam sabre from Gundam Wing for his sword so in a sense I combined the Anime style of drawing with the superhero/villan style to come up with the effect. As for the story behind him, well, I wont get into that. It's just too long.
